Signal Synthesis Using weighting factors for odd and even harmonics, one can synthesize the expected waveform from a plucked string. This sample exhibits the time-domain characteristics for the fundamental through the fifth harmonic, with weights of: 1x, 0.3x, -0.8x, 0.1x. and 0.5x:
